Clinics and Tuition training  for  success

Ruxton horses is all about success - not only in competitions !! We believe our approach gives our horses the best start in life. By giving them a good foundation when they start their careers under saddle, then continuing their progress through correct training, we hope to successfully produce happy athletes and happy owners.

Training is all about educating riders and horses in the art of dressage or show jumping and sometimes both.

Melanie Phillips is a B.H.S.I.I. has trained and worked in Germany and America with top riders including George Williams, Karl Mikolka, Dolf Keller and Kalman de Jurenack. She currently trains with Carl Hester.

Emma Slater, who trains and competes our jumping horses, is on her way to become an accredited B.S.J.A coach and has worked for for some prestigious riders in America and in Europe.

All this knowledge we can bring to individuals in the form of private tuition or at one of our regular clinics. We also hold courses for those who want to focus on a particular aspect of Dressage. New for this year we are holding courses with a more holistic view to educate riders - how they can combine caring for their horse's general well being with structured work programmes to lift their horse's performance.
